2017 Photo Project (January 29-February 4)

Benjamin is our big helper! He loves to rake leaves with Abba, even when it's FREEZING out!

Handsome.

 Working hard!
He can pack in a whole piece of pizza and even prefers that I don't cut it into pieces!
Counting using pretzels, chocolate bunnies, and gummy bears!

They are eager to learn when there is food involved!

Just 'cause he's cute!
We had some sweet friends over on Saturday and this little one really enjoyed Aaron!

She also loved playing school!

This isn't even all the bread we used to make grilled cheese sandwiches! I love when we have extra kids and think about what blessings full houses are!

2017 Photo Project (January 22-28)

I am falling behind! I knew that this project would stretch me and I'm already feeling it! Here are a few photos from the week of January 22! Enjoy ;)
This weekend, I rediscovered the beauty of cereal for breakfast! I usually make either eggs or oatmeal for breakfast this week I realized my boys are old enough to have cereal with milk and on the occasion that I am too tired or we have to be quick, I can pop a bowl of cereal in front of them and we are good to go! Super pumped about that!

The boys playing well together!
Benjamin saw me with my camera and decided to get cheesy :)

Nom Nom!

Facetiming with Grandpa and Nana!

I had the privilege of doing a photo session with Joshua's sweet co-worker, Bethany, at Forest Park! It was so fun running around in the cold and catching beautiful rays of sunshine!

2017 Photo Project (January 15-21)

So this week I wasn't as diligent with my photos! I need to tattoo (just kidding mom) a camera on my hand to remind me to pick it up! I used to be in such a habit of doing it! Hopefully, this project will help me get back into it!
One of our favorite parts of visiting Louisville is going back to Baxter Avenue Church and hearing Pastor Ben preach!
Working on his sippy cup skills! He knows how to tilt his head back now which makes for WAY less mess than the straw ones! Yay Aaron!!!
 Yikes!
Loooong story, but we had a sewer mishap in our basement and Joshua did ALL the dirty work to get it cleaned up (best. husband. ever.) This is him burning some cardboard boxes (Insert emoji of monkey covering mouth...or the smiley guy sticking his tongue out)

Hopefully this next week will have more photos and some exciting things to share!

2017 Photo Project (January 8-14)

Week 2 of 2017 has already flown on by! Here are some highlights of our week!
Our hot-mess of a birthday boy at First Baptist's Soup and Salad lunch!
The boys loved it being Aaron's first birthday: CUPCAKES!!!

The boys have been enjoying playing with Lego boats in the sink!

 Iron Man leads the way!

Joshua leading us in some music!

Some of Samuel's homework is to read to someone other than me! He loved reading to Abba and Abba loved being read to!

 Breakfast for dinner!

This past weekend we were in Louisville for an SBTS Alumni Academy! Joshua's coworker and his wife also came and we had a game night in our hotel! We played Slamwich which was new for all of us and had a blast!
While there, our dear friends Pastor Ben and Natalie, had us over for dinner! This is one of their daughters! Growing us so fast!!
 Their other sweet girl!
 Aaron loved snuggling with Grace!

I forgot how intentional I have to be to get a photo each day! Some photos are incredibly random (I mean, breakfast for dinner? Who cares?) but I think it will make for great memories down the road!

2017 Photo Project (January 1-7)

Welcome to my 2017 Photo Project! I am so excited to capture our family's memories this year! A few years ago, I made sure to take a photo a day and that was the most documented year of our family and now we have such sweet photos to look back on! This year, I plan to take at least one photo a day (could be a special moment or simply the every day happenings that go on in our home), but I plan to only post once a week. I hope you enjoy following along! To Him be all the glory!!

Playing Monopoly Junior! These kids LOVE this game!

 <3 p="">

This kid. He has been trying to drop this nap for over 6 months (it's always 6 months, right, Katie?) Some days he totally handles it like a BOSS, other days, not so much.

Aaron popped his first two teeth on the first day of 2017! He loves to stick EVERYthing and ANYthing in his mouth!

The homeschool curriculum we use has the boys learning cursive and Samuel loves writing his name!

Our homeschool room before we got our new chairs and table!

 SNOW!!!

"If all of the snowflakes were lemon bars and milkshakes, oh what a snow that would be!"

Our new chairs that fit the boys perfectly! Samuel said, "Mama! Take a picture of me playing with my legos!"
This handsome guy turned ONE this week!

I've been playing with some of the features on my camera and this was me trying to figure out my Wifi remote ;) I think it will be helpful for family fun photos!

About me

My photo
I am a redeemed woman who seeks to reflect that redemption by living out my calling as a wife and momma! My primary purpose in life is to glorify God through obedience by helping my husband and loving others. Of course, I don't do this perfectly, so I daily rely on the work of Jesus to count me righteous and rest in His saving grace!
