2017 Photo Project (February, March, some of April)

Wow. To say I failed in this project, would be an understatement. In the hectic of our every day, I have been forgetting to bust out the camera to capture the most significant mundanes! I find so much joy looking back on photos from the years that I am both shocked and saddened that I would neglect this habit so easily! I do take a lot of photos on my iPhone, but I know without a doubt, that the photos from my SLR are WAY better! So here are the handful that I captured over the last couple of months! I do hope to be more on top of this in the days to come!

We participated in our first AWANA Pinewood Derby race at our church!

That same night, Samuel lost his FIRST TOOTH!!!

We love treating our boys to frozen yogurt! They don't mind.

A random dose of cuteness. Aaron LOVES playing in the refrigerator!

In February, we had the privilege of celebrating our dear friend, Sadie's birthday! I made her favorite cake (which happens to be my favorite, too! Soul sisters ;) Funfetti with chocolate frosting!! She made this for my birthday, too!) We also played Ticket to Ride with Sadie and Jeremiah!

More random adorable and a photo from our lesson on Noah's Ark and God's promise signified His beautiful rainbow!

The children at Joshua's company potluck loved Aaron!

Sunset.

The sun shining in on my beautiful flowers!

Ahhh! And then my trip to California to enjoy the PBC Women's Retreat with dear friends! My husband was so sacrificial to give me this time away. I had such a wonderful time with the wonderful teaching, great food, and amazing fellowship! My husband knew I needed some special time with special friends and, boy, was he right! We've decided this should be a tradition! (More photos from my iPhone below!)

Random love!

The boys have started tee-ball so we took the boys to a local park and practiced a bit!

My very precious boys!

Ahhh! My first born turned six in March! I just can't believe it! He is so bright and enthusiastic! I love how he wants to talk about God and gets really excited about things being right and just :) He is going to be our lawyer one day! We went out for our traditional Mom and Son birthday breakfast at The Original Pancake house! He was super spoiled with yummy chocolate chip pancakes! Later that afternoon, we all went to the Spaghetti Factory for lunch and the traditional trip to Toys R Us with Abba! That evening, we had a little S'mores party where we roasted marshmallows, ate cupcakes, and ran around the yard until the sun went down! It was a sweet day celebrating our guy!! Love him!!

The following photos are ones that I caught on my iPhone!
Playing at the Library

And the fun began! My sweet sister Jenny picked me up and we started our weekend off with yummy Mediterranean food (tomorrow marks 2 years since we went to Israel together with PBC!), pedicures, and of course, lattes!

 Katie!!!!

Can't even. Laura and I got to see Beauty and the Beast opening night with some other women from our church! What a fun treat!!!

About me

My photo
I am a redeemed woman who seeks to reflect that redemption by living out my calling as a wife and momma! My primary purpose in life is to glorify God through obedience by helping my husband and loving others. Of course, I don't do this perfectly, so I daily rely on the work of Jesus to count me righteous and rest in His saving grace!
