354:8 - Carrots and cats

365:8

Today I have more than ONE photo of the day because we just had such a great afternoon feeding and petting the animals around our lovely neighborhood! Samuel loved feeding the horses, though their big teeth were intimidating to me. We also met a cat and a pig on our walk! Like I said in my last post, I definitely want this to become a routine for us :)

I made a special trip to Sam's Club (where we got lunch for all of us for only $4.50!) just for some carrots for our walks! HUGE bag for $1.99!

So proud of his carrots to share with our horse friends!

Oreo's precious!

He is a handsome young man.

In his "only-one-hour-nap" gaze!

Until tomorrow...

365:7 - Feeding horses

365:7

Today we went on a walk around our neighborhood and ran into our friends, Sam, Robyn, Archer, and William! They bring food almost daily to feed the local horses! Here Sam is helping Samuel feed a carrot to Ginger (I think that's her name…) After, we played a little at the college and then we visited with them at their house! Thankful for random visits with new friends!

We want to make a habit of walking, feeding horses, and running into friends!

354:6 - PRIZES

365:6

In recent days, we have been working on toilet training Samuel and he has been doing awesome! But there is something he just struggles a little more with so we told him that if he accomplished this goal, he would get his very own TOOL like Abba's! He loves to play with Joshua's tape-measurer so we purchased a smaller version and he earned it TODAY (and 2 m&ms)!! We are so proud of our growing boy!

365:5 - Stuck

365:5

Our little Benjamin got himself stuck under his crib. So Joshua coached him to find his way out. (We want to develop those problem-solving skills early.) We all gave Benjamin a standing ovation when he emerged from his little prison! He felt quite accomplished!

365:4 - Brotherly Love

365:4

Today we did a lot of running around getting supplies at Lowe's, picking up lunch, and running around Hart Park! It was a wonderful family day, but my favorite part was capturing the brotherly love and affection between my precious sons! I pray they always share a close, special bond!

365:3 - First Movie!

365:3

Today, I had the awesome privilege of taking my (big boy) Samuel to his first Full-Length movie in the movie theater!! We saw Disney's Frozen because I heard it was age-appropraite, relatively short, and I had secretly wanted to see it (Idina Menzel was the voice of the Queen!) Samuel was very excited, especially for the popcorn, which he got his own container of (with an ICEE and fruit snacks). It was awesome because Samuel was FREE so I didn't feel the pressure of staying for the whole thing - but thankfully, he did AWESOME! I don't think he followed the story line, and near the end he was a little antsy, but I could tell he enjoyed the experience :)

What a blast I had with my precious guy!

Our Photo Project

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Each year, I attempt to set goals and one is most always a goal to take a photo a day. Well, I have failed. I have failed miserably. But this year, a friend of mine (Emily Brower) started her 365 Day photo project and I thought I would try again. Since my generous husband has equipped me with some sweet photography gear, I'm that much more eager to bust out my camera each day! I am VERY excited about this because I just love capturing the everyday lives of the Clutterham clam.
So here goes… wish me luck ;)

365:1

Here, Benjamin was up while Samuel was sleeping (rare occasion), so he was able to play outside and all the sticks and balls outside were his for the taking! He was having a blast :)

365:2

Joshua has been working on making our 300 sq ft house more spacious (and he's doing a pretty decent job!!) Here, he's making a "Learning Center" which will consist of bookshelves (for parents and kids) and a sitting area for the boys to read! Can't wait :)

Until tomorrow, have a blessed day!

About me

My photo
I am a redeemed woman who seeks to reflect that redemption by living out my calling as a wife and momma! My primary purpose in life is to glorify God through obedience by helping my husband and loving others. Of course, I don't do this perfectly, so I daily rely on the work of Jesus to count me righteous and rest in His saving grace!
